01My journey

From electronic engineering to Data & AI

My journey into technology started with a background in Electronic Engineering, but over the years I found myself drawn more and more to the power of data. Not just as numbers and dashboards, but as a tool for understanding people, solving problems and making better decisions.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of Data, AI, leadership and community building.

I've spent the last several years building experience across data engineering, analytics, business intelligence and AI, working with data to solve real-world problems and help organisations make sense of information.

Along the way, I've also become increasingly interested in the people behind the technology: who gets access to opportunities, who gets to lead, and what we can do to create a more inclusive technology ecosystem. That has become a big part of the work I do today.

02Beyond the job title

Technology is most powerful when it creates opportunities for people.

This belief led me to found DataHER Africa, a community focused on supporting African women in Data & AI through mentorship, community and opportunities for growth.

Building DataHER has been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey, because it allows me to contribute beyond my individual career and help create pathways for other women coming behind me.

Through DataHER Africa and my wider mentorship work, I've supported women at different stages of their careers, from those taking their first steps into technology to professionals looking to grow, lead and navigate their careers with more confidence.

I'm also a co-founder of MentorFair, a platform that helps organisations run structured mentorship programmes.

Leadership isn't just about the position you hold. It is also about what you make possible for other people.

03What I do

One thread: knowledge, technology and community

My work spans several areas, but they all connect to one thing: using knowledge, technology and community to create meaningful impact.

Let's connect

Building something meaningful?

If you're interested in Data, AI, leadership, inclusive innovation or simply building something meaningful, I'd love to hear from you.
